The Miss Philippines_Earth Batch of 2009 in cooperation with Carousel Production, Inc. Miss Earth Foundation and Manila Water premiered PROJECT NOEL, an environmental advocacy short film on March 24, 2010 at CINEMA 1, The Podium.

This film aims to teach the value of resource management and instill in each one of us responsibility towards Mother Earth. This short film is the legacy of the outgoing batch of Miss Philippines-Earth as they turnover the torch to new set of winners during the 10th year search for beauties for a cause on April 25, 2010. The beauty queen themselves took on technical roles to make this production possible; from conceptualizing to leg work during the shoot day itself.

This milestone in Miss Earth Foundation history was celebrated by everyone who made this project possible including partners and communities. This film will be distributed all over the Philippines and translated in English for Miss Earth organization across the globe.

Project Noel is co-produced with Marcus Phoenix Media Productions under the direction of Jon Steffan Ballesteros.

MISS PHILIPPINES EARTH 2010 CANDIDATES AT THE PREMIERE OF AN ENVIRONMENTAL SHORTFILM.

"Project Noel", a short film on preservation of our Mother Nature premiered last night at the Podium Cinema in Ortigas, Mandaluyong City.

The film is the legacy of the outgoing Miss Philippines Earth beauties. They come up with their own project. 2006 batch came up with a book entitled "Bakawan", published by the Dep Ed. 2007 batch produced their own reusable bags called I Love ME ( Mother Earth) to held reduce the use of plastics, 2008 batch embarked with the project 20K Okay, as they succesfully planted 20,000 trees during their reign.

Miss Philippines Earth 2010 candidates graced the primiere of the film as it signalled the start of the various activities of the 10 year old beauty pageant that preserved and cares for Motrher Nature.

Finals for this year pageant is scheduled on April 25 at the Aquatic of manila Ocean Park in Luneta, Manila to be telesacst live over kapamilya Network ABS CBN.
