these awards have the same concept as RUTH OCUMAREZ AWARD.

the most over-rated candidate who were unplaced in a male pageant will be given by these awards.

FOR AN OVER-RATED OR OVER HYPED MR WORLD CANDIDATE WHO ENDED AS UNPLACED WILL RECEIVE WILLEM VERMUYTEN AWARD named after Mr Belguim World 2010 titleholder who was overrated but was unplaced in the finals.

FOR AN OVER-RATED OR OVER HYPED MISTER INTERNATIONAL CANDIDATE WHO ENDED AS UNPLACED WILL RECEIVE ALONSO FERNANDEZ AWARD named after Mr Costa Rica International titleholder who was overrated but was unplaced in the finals.

Alonso Fernandez Award will be given after Mister International 2010 finals.
Willem Vermuyten Award will be given after the next edition of Mr World finals.

i'm so disappointed with Belgium's outplacement. that is why I and my brother created those awards,dedicated to all handsome men who received injustice in the male pageants they have joined.

...just couldn't understand Belgium's exclusion...but it's all clear to me now, this pageant is just like its sister pageant, the MW, with regards to choice of winner...Ireland and Gibraltar, indeed!
