After a few days of competition, a new favorite for the crown has emerged: Venezuela’s Ivian Sarcos. Seven of our judges rated her with a perfect “5″, meaning “a candidate with potential to win”. Hungary, Ireland, and Spain, followed right behind her.
GB’s new Top 15 list has the following countries: Venezuela, Hungary, Ireland, Spain, Russia, USA, Italy, Uruguay, Puerto Rico, Sweden, Chile, Brazil, Colombia, Trinidad & Tobago, and Vietnam.
Complementing a possible ‘top 25′ are the candidates from Canada, Mexico, Paraguay, Australia, England, Bulgaria, Uganda, Belarus, Bonaire, and Philippines.
Meet our judges: Edwin Toledo, from Puerto Rico, probably the most avid Miss World follower on the planet! He runs the blog Times of Beauty; Jean Vandercasteele, a pageant organizer in Belgium, who is another huge Miss World fan; Nick C, from Turkey, who’s already famous and has been a GB judge, commentator and correspondent for years; Donald West is THE MAN when Miss World is the subject – he is from Canada and runs the phenomenal Pageantopolis; South Africa’s coolest Miss World fanatic, Andre Sleigh; no introduction needed for GB’s own Ed Dominguez, from Panama; Inger Hansson is the source of information when it comes to Sweden’s pageants and beauty queens; we have the perspective and views of a second woman with the famous Dutch pageant organizer Katia Maes; from Vietnam, the crazy and very outspoken Donald Nguyen, from Mundial Beauties; finally, Ricardo Guiraldes, fom Chilen Charm, who covered Miss World as a photographer during several years in the 1980′s and 1990′s.
We have requested them to score each contestant based on the following criteria:
5 points = candidates with potential to win the crown
4 points = candidates with potential to be finalists
3 points = candidates with potential to be semi-finalists
2 points = candidates who could pull a surprise
1 point = candidates who would probably need to win a fast-track contest to advance
0 points = very long shot

Re: VENEZUELA CURRENT # 1 FAVORITE TO WIN MW 2011!!!
The same happened with Venezuela's World 2006 Federica Guzman and Dominican Republic's World 2007 Ada De La Cruz, they were the clear favorites in the bookmakers to win the crown IN THEIR RESPECTEVELY YEARS, and we all know the results. I am not a fan of Ivian, but I wish her well in this BORING PAGEANT. I do not trust any bookmakers nor predicitions, because @ the end the results in this pagerant are WAY DIFFERENT FROM ALL PREDICTIONS!!!

Thank you, my dear Desi!
Actually these are the current predictions by GB, NOT by the bookmakers.. I know GB are not the real judges of MW , but it feels so good to once again see my girl on top, specially after Vanessa Goncalves was so bashed and underscored in SS in MU 2011. I have not been a fan of Ivian either, but I recognize that she has come a long way and she does really stand out in this huge group of ladies! I am also happy that Venezuela is another mega favorite in MI 2011 with Jessica Barboza.. I know that is why some jealous people don't like to include my queens in their lists and that is why they always put their undeserving ones always on top ! How obvious and funny!

Not a surprise for me: I expected Ivian so much
Ivian made her job and arrived beautiful in London. Global Beauties put her in the 1st position after the arrivals: Venezuela, Hungary, Ireland, Spain and Russia.
So, is not a a surprise for me: I expected Ivian so much!
Venezuela have 2 beautiful candidates: Jessica in MI (favorite too? Wait, because a think yes!) and Ivian!!!
