Wow! I got into this thread out of curiosity and lo! what a pleasant surprise!...The dolls are fabulously crafted and beautiful. They even have their own names and Miss Brazil's name caught my attention..Christy Siciliano sounds more Italo-American than Brazilian and Miss France..Elodie Distance lol!!..Bravoooo!!!..

The director for MDU Brazil took the last name from a friend from Brazil who is of Brazilian and Italian background and the name Christy is from his favorite supermodel Christy Turlington. He likes to theme name his dolls that have the same face mold. Some all start with the same first letter, or use real fashion designers (see Martinique) name as a part of their names or just named after real models.
Stay tuned for the pageant in April to see who will win the crown.
