Desi, thank you so much for this thread.. is incredible how amazingly beautiful and stylish Dayana Mendoza looks... and the dress is also out of the ordinary ... not boring at all.. is cool to see beauty queens and celebrities "re-inventing themselves constantly by varying the look and the style, but most importanly managing to look awesome, so that they always keep us guessing and iinterested!

Ray, I think that " virginal" is not an offense, is actually a good observation... cheers . Beauty and allure comes in many ways, shapes and forms, and virginal, sexy, sensual, candid, innocent, fierce and fresh ( amongst others), are all very deserving adjectives when describing beatiful ladies and beauty queens...

There is one thing I have observed. Miss Venezuelas are trying to make red lips or lipsticks the latest trend in fashion.

Marie Ann Umali did this also in Miss World last year. Obviously she was influenced by Stefania Fernandez

That red dress reminds me a similar gown from a Miss Venezuela also in 1990. refer to this video at 6:05
