121st Rose Parade -- 2010: A Cut Above the Rest
This Friday, January 1, 2010 at 8 a.m. (Pacific Standard Time), millions of spectators from around the world will celebrate the New Year with the 121st Rose Parade themed 2010: A Cut Above the Rest. The Rose Parade will once again feature the beautiful pageantry and tradition of magnificent floral floats and spirited marching bands.
2010 Grand Marshal Captain Chesley Sullenberger
The heroic pilot who masterfully landed US Airways Flight 1549, Captain Chesley B. “Sully” Sullenberger, III, will serve as the Grand Marshal of the Parade that will pay tribute to everyday heroes and the effort to always improve and enhance. Aside from riding in the 121st Rose Parade in front of a worldwide television audience, Sullenberger will toss the coin before the 96th Rose Bowl Game.
Rose Queen Natalie Innocenzi
The 92nd Rose Queen is Natalie Innocenzi. She was crowned in a ceremony at the Pasadena Convention Center last November 5 by 17-year-old Dominic DiSano, son of recently deceased President of the 121st Tournament of Roses, Gary DiSano.

I haven't seen the Parade live, too...but I never fail watching it on TV each year...your mom must be elated that a parade bears her name...in the same way that my mom is proud of hers-- not Rose but Aida, the famous opera.....btw, I dig that AV of yours...I wanna see what's on the other side of you.
