José Alonso Dias, Miss Minas Gerais coordinator, and coach of a lot of success girls, was honored in June 10, in Belo Horizonte as "Capital honorary citizen".
Some of the girls that he prepared was there...
Between them, Miss Brazil 2010, Débora Lyra, Natália Guimarães (MBU 2007), Tatiane Alves (MBE 2008), Salcy Lima (Miss Pará Universe 2010 and now, Miss Brazil World University 2010) and Camila Brant (Miss Brazil Intercontinental 2009).

The Miss Brazil Organization is making a popular voting in the Official Site for chose the National Costume that Débora'll use in Miss Universe 2010.

Well, I bring you the 3 possibilities.

The first one is the "COLOMBINA". A very popular figure in the carnival parties. The character have origin in the Venetian Carnival, in Italy. Is part of the history of carnival love between the "Arlequim" the "colombina" and "Pierrot". Our traditional "Love Triangle".

So, here is the Colombina.

The second character is the "ÍNDIA". The Brazilian Indian. Our original citizens.
I think that it was created over the traditional carnival costumes too.

And, the third option is the "ORIXÁ" costume.
Orixás are the God's of the African People that came to Brazil as slaves in the Empire.
The costume make's a honor to the female Orixás. And have some of there colors and elements, like the mirror in her hand.
Have a Mermaid look, because most of the female Orixás lives in the water, like "Yemanjá", the sea Queen (the mother), "Oxum", the rivers Queen (the young woman), and "Nanã", the marshes Queen (the old lady).

Orixa all the way. The one of " India" is gorgeous too, but I think we have seen already too much of the same thing. Colombina is perhaps, the most elegant of all of them..... And I agree, my buddy Phael , is both a handsome and cultural fellow!
