me miss universe 1999 where the philippines rock that year..actually my bet is miss spain..im only 9 years old that year.

Same here Bonner. 1994 was the year I first watched Miss Universe. I remember I was the only Sushmita fan in our group. All of them were rooting either for Colombia or Venezuela. I was so happy when Sushmita won.

MU 1987 when Cecilia Bolocco of Chile was crowned.. I was only 7 years old and remember mom and dad rooting for Venezuela and Italy , who finished, fourth and second, respectively....

Of course Roberta Capua was robbed BIG TIME. So angelic and innocent looking and so fresh!. She looked like a painting, and the type of beauty adored by painters , artists and sculptors!..... Is hard to believe that Italy has never won any GS crown Shocked
